Public Utility Easements (PUE)
Pomelo Park Irrigation Water Delivery District ("District") owns and maintains flood irrigation infrastructures installed above and below ground in Public Utility Easements ("PUE") throughout the district in Pomelo Park and Pomelo Park Annex.
All property owners, owning property within the described boundaries of the District (see Bylaws, Article I) shall not authorize work or encroachment within any PUE in the District or serves the District without written authorization from the District Board of Trustees. Property owners must submit a City of Phoenix Public Utility Easement Adjustment - Approval Request to the District prior to any work or encroachment within any PUE in the District.
Heavy construction vehicle crossings over any flood irrigation lines with less than 24 inches of engineered cover are not permitted unless approved load-distribution protection measures are installed. Property owners and contractors shall be fully responsible for all damage, repair costs, and associated service disruptions resulting from noncompliance.
